When a category gets rebuilt around AI, the companies inside it don't get a slow decline — they get repriced in a single financing round. Classic restructuring playbooks were built for a different kind of distress: refinancing, cost programs, management change, measured in quarters.
That timeline doesn't match the problem anymore. By the time a conventional turnaround plan is approved, the technological gap it was meant to close has usually widened.
The approach

We don't acquire the company and we don't deploy cash. We step in operationally, restructure it — technologically and organizationally — and take an equity stake in what we help rebuild.

A portfolio company revalued down by AI disruption. No acquisition. No capital call.
Mechanism
An embedded team rebuilds the operating model and the technology stack around what AI now makes possible.
Return
A 10–20% equity stake in the turned-around business — in place of a cash fee.
